When Catherine saw the octopus she felt disgusted! He looked long, stretchy, and had swirling arms, moving slowly. The octopus' eyes opened wide. A big smile swept across his face and he squirted black dye! The black dye was magic. The octopus was cartoon. His nose opened up and spongy hands came out of his nose. When the octopus squirted the black die on Catherine, Catherine turned into a stingray but still thought she was a human. While gnawing on dead fish she realized she was a stingray. She saw lots and lots of sea horses that made rustling water. She found lots of glistening shells and lost cities. The octopus taught Catherine to turn cartoon. While she was swimming , she thought that she should have paid attention in swimming lessons. She looked down and noticed she wasn't swimming; she was resting on the octopus. She felt safe in the water. Finally she turned over and took her tail and squirted the octopus. Catherine turned human, but so did the octopus. The end.
